Parents requesting baptism for their child will be making a profession of faith and promising to raise their child in the Christian faith with the support of Augustine United Church. The congregation of Augustine will promise to provide a place of Christian nurture and support for the child and for the parents.

As a member of the World Council of Churches, the United Church recognizes the baptisms of other Christian denominations. On the basis of their baptism into the one body of Christ, individuals seeking membership or baptism with Augustine United Church are invited to join the New Members Group to further their membership in The United Church of Canada.

Augustine United Church welcomes all who wish to celebrate marriage in a Christian setting.

Please note that a nonrefundable booking deposit of $100 to Augustine United Church is required to hold your date (this deposit is applied toward your total fees).

Augustine United Church is open to all who require support in dealing with the death of loved ones. Empowered by its faith in the promise of resurrection, the Church confronts the reality of death, consoles the bereaved, and offers thanks to God for the gifts of life.
